Clonlough completed a comprehensive renovation of an existing residence, along with the addition of an extension. With the removal of an all-glass 1990’s conservatory, it was a priority to balance the solidity of the new extension with openness to the beautiful garden. Additionally, the original house has been revitalized with new and larger windows installed in the upper floor rear returns. The former kitchen, located in the conservatory, suffered from extreme temperature fluctuations, being excessively hot in the summer and uncomfortably cold in the winter. This space has now been transformed into a well-lit and elegantly designed extension that harmonizes with the existing Victorian architecture.
