Clonlough was established over 20 years ago by Frank Davis, who comes from a family of traditional builders. He follows the legacy of his father John Davis, a master builder who crafted his first home in 1955 and went on to construct countless more over the decades. This passion for construction traces back even further to John’s grandfather and great-grandfather, who were both skilled roof slaters. Numerous other family members worked as carpenters, plasterers, and tradesmen, further embedding a deep-rooted presence in the construction industry.

This photograph was taken in 1921 of Patrick Davis who was a grand uncle of Frank Davis. Patrick was a skilled plasterer whose craftsmanship exemplified the dedication to quality that has now been passed down through the generations.
